In this session, we will delve into the critical factors influencing the selection of sustainability frameworks and explore emerging trends in sustainability reporting.

Chua Wan Rong,
Senior Lecturer of Accounting

Wan Rong is a Senior Lecturer at SMU’s School of Accountancy, specialising in audit, assurance, sustainability reporting, and ethics. She focuses on making complex accounting concepts understandable and relevant. She brings practical insight to the classroom with her strong foundation in assurance practices and industry experience. Her teaching approach emphasizes clarity, purposeful mentoring, and anticipating the needs of the profession and the planet. Wan Rong aims to inspire students to see their role in shaping a more accountable and sustainable future.
